Nakime is a prominent character in the anime and manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon who serves directly under Muzan Kibutsuji, the main antagonist.

Her primary role is the Biwa Demon, possessing the power to manipulate the Infinity Castle, a vast and ever-shifting dimension used as the headquarters for Muzan and his Twelve Kizuki. She controls the castle's layout and can transport individuals within it with remarkable precision using the sounds of her biwa (a Japanese lute).

Initially one of the Lower Ranks, Nakime's utility in managing the Infinity Castle eventually earned her a position amongst the Upper Ranks, specifically Upper Rank Four. She replaced Hantengu after his defeat. She's depicted as quiet and stoic, rarely speaking and expressing little emotion, even in battle. Her combat style is primarily defensive, relying on her control of the Infinity Castle to disorient and isolate opponents.
